OneFuvahmulah held the largest beach clean-up event covering 10.4 kilometers over 11 days. We collected 553 dustbin bags of trash from the beach. Most of the trash are plastic bottles. The event started on August 20 and completed on August 30, 2017.
The trash collected were sorted and plastic bottles were sent to Parley for recycling. A total of 25 jumbo bags of plastic were sent.
A trash map of the green zone was also done during this clean-up event.
